Welcome
Back, Lansdowne Families!
Welcome to the 2026–2027
school year! We are excited to welcome our students and families back to
Lansdowne High School for what promises to be an extraordinary year. As we
begin this new chapter together, there is a tremendous sense of excitement
throughout our school community. This is our time.
This year, we
are united by a shared commitment to Ignite Brilliance. Expect Excellence.
Celebrate Greatness. These words represent more than a theme—they reflect
what we believe about every student who walks through our doors. Every Viking
brings strengths, talents, dreams, and possibilities to our school, and it is
our responsibility to create the conditions for those gifts to grow.
Our work
continues to be grounded in our core values and a simple belief: students
are at the center of everything we do. We will challenge our students
academically, support their social and emotional growth, strengthen their sense
of belonging, and help them develop the confidence and skills necessary to
pursue their goals beyond high school.
This work
cannot happen without you. Families are essential partners in student success,
and we invite you to remain connected throughout the year. Ask questions.
Attend events. Communicate with teachers and SUCCESS Coaches. Celebrate
progress. Reach out when your student needs additional support. Together, we
can ensure that every student knows there is a team of adults—at school and at
home—invested in their success.
As we begin
this school year, I encourage every member of our Viking community to embrace
the opportunities ahead of us. A new year brings new possibilities, new
relationships, new challenges, and new opportunities to demonstrate what it
means to Do Great and Be Great
Families, thank
you for trusting us with your children and for continuing to partner with us in
this important work. We are honored to serve your family and look forward to
all that we will accomplish together.
