The school library media center and its staff provide instruction, resources, and services to assist students and teachers in becoming critical thinkers. Through and integrated instructional program, the school library media specialist ensures that students and staff learn how to be effective users of ideas and information.

• Print materials: over 14,000 books and non print items
• Magazines: 21 print subscriptions
• Computers: 23 Dell computers with internet and print capabilities and access to the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog), the library’s card catalog. Computer use is for educational purposes only and all users are expected to adhere to BCPS Telecommunications Policy. • Online Databases: Go to www.bcps.org/offices/lis and click the “Databases/
e-Books tab on the navigation bar on left. All databases can be used at home and at school. Stop by the library for username and password information for home use.
