The Lansdowne High School English Department focuses on the comprehensive development of the reading, writing, thinking, composing, and questioning skills for all students from ninth grade through twelfth grade. The English courses and electives listed on this web site reflect the fundamental requirements for graduation, the remedial courses necessary for standardized testing success, and elective courses for enrichment. Successful completion of these courses enables our students to enter the academic, business, technical, or military worlds as effective communicators, critical thinkers, and life-long learners.
