Lansdowne High School Open House Evening
Lansdowne High School
Thursday, October 15, 2015
5 PM – 7 PM (Open House)
Visit our school and meet our academy teachers. Ask questions about our programs. This is a great time to get to know the instructors and see what Lansdowne High School is like. You can even stop by our newly renovated auditorium and see our performance academy in action as they display some of their current works. You will have a chance to not only meet the teachers, but also meet some of our students.
November 2 -13, 2015
Fill out this online shadow day registration form and Mr. Simon will schedule a shadow day for your child and contact you. This is a great way for students to get a true feel for the environment of the academy and Lansdowne High School.
A shadow day is when your child is paired up with one of our students and follows that student during their classes for one half of a school day. Lansdowne High School shadow days for the Fall of 2015 are available between November 2nd and November 13th.
Fill out this form and Mr. Simon will email or call you with a date and time for your child's shadow day.
A parent/legal guardian must come to the front office with the student and present a driver’s license to the front office secretary. You will tell us who is picking up your child at that time, so that we know who to release your child to. That person must also present a driver's license when picking up your child. We will not release your child without verification.
If your child is a BCPS student, then please have them bring their BCPS One card ID to wear during the shadow day. Non BCPS students will receive a guest sticker ID badge.
AM shadows should arrive at 7:40 AM and should be picked up at 10:40 AM.
PM shadows should arrive at 10:45 AM or 11:15 AM depending on the shadow schedule and should be picked up at 1:40 PM.
Some PM shadows will include a half hour lunch period. These PM shadows may bring a lunch or cash for lunch (middle school lunch ID numbers will not work here). AM shadows will not attend lunch during the visit.
Please email Lsimon@bcps.org or call 410-887-1415 to reach our front office.
